TDA Organizer License – Legal requirements according to motor racing insurance
 
 According to the Motor Racing Insurance Act (1976:357) , organizers must have special insurance for competitions, training, demonstrations or practice runs within a fenced-in competition area. The law was introduced because normal motor insurance does not apply on the track and to protect third parties and spectators in the event of personal injury or property damage.
 
 The requirement applies to the organizer (or the track owner if there is no organizer), and the insurance shall cover up to 100 MSEK . The insurance does not cover drivers, passengers or officials.
