CIRCUITS / TRACKS NORDIC
Race circuits differ in layout, safety level, and runoff areas, but all work actively to maintain a safe environment for riders and organisers.
Rental agreements between organisers and circuits usually include legal requirements and specific safety rules that must be followed. Below is a list of major circuits used by motorcycle organisers in Sweden. TDA generally follows Svemo’s recommendations, or a club may apply to have its circuit approved directly by TDA.
To organise an event in Sweden, a Motor Racing Insurance policy is required by law. TDA is the licensing organisation and issues organiser licences that meet legal requirements and safety standards. TDA currently provides organiser licences only for circuits located in Sweden. For events outside Sweden, only the TDA Rider Licence applies.
TDA recommends using airfences whenever possible. Organisers should check with the circuit owner regarding availability.
